An interview with Tarik Ballouz, Chief Operating Officer at WIS, who explains how he started out in 2015 and grew with the company.
My name is Oksana, I am Russian with Mediterranean flavor 😊
Sales and Affiliate Team Lead at WIS and I love my job. My role is a mix of relationship building, getting the best deals, compliance, sales, reporting.
Favorite part is social and sales components, communication is the key to strong partnerships.
I also like WIS team, we have a great nationality mix and there is no day without a good joke 😊
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?
When I started seeing results, first they came through reports;
it’s a pride seeing that your team managed to contribute to the company’s success by increasing sales revenue.
And the second was meeting partners in person, mainly at affiliate conferences and as well inviting them to WIS office.
Hearing positive feedback about players value and also good account management, speedy replies – that makes WIS standing out from other similar companies.
What was your best day at work?
Hard to say, almost every day.
What’s something that happened that can only happen here?
Trying electric scooter on the terrace and discovering its speed 😊
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of seeing the company grow and also that it cares about both employees and the environment. I am proud of seeing colleagues being promoted.
Which team member is the most helpful for you and why?
Hard to choose 😊 Denis, Product Team, is always helpful and fast and understanding; Katrin, Affiliate Team, has an eye-for-detail and is really hard-working and a fast learner; also great support from the Management.
